February 23rd 2010

It's official... the dr set up my c-section for Feb. 23rd at noon. It's kind of nice to know exactly when he is coming so I can have everything ready. We have been busy painting the nursery back to white (the kidos will have to share until we get a bigger place), going through baby clothes, all the normal stuff. Addison will be one next month, I can hardly believe it so we are also in the middle of planning her birthday party! She is running everywhere now, loves to go up the stairs, loves to dance, and loves to eat. She is getting so big I can't believe it. Here are some recent photos of her for your enjoyment.

Here she is trying to escape. For a while after Christmas we left our totes out and used them as barricades to keep her in one area. Well you can see how well that worked! She is so smart and always figures out how to get out! Another time Matt and I were upstairs taking things out of the nursery to paint and when I came down to check on her she had climbed up the couch and was in the process of climbing over it. I guess she felt like she was missing out and needed to come find us!

Yes you are seeing earrings!! Her dad decided to "surprise" me and go get her ears pierced!! She looks very cute but I was a little upset I couldn't be there with her. He said she did great though. I think he was concerned because a guy at Home Depot asked how old "he" was. HA!! I thought it was funny but apparently he doesn't want anyone else to mistake her for a boy!

She is starting to look like such a big girl!!

Addison's first goose egg

Addison thinks its fun lately to spin around in circles... well this is how it turned out....

She cried pretty hard and was laying on my shoulder and I couldn't see the goose egg right away. Poor thing!! But she still managed to smile for a shot!

We are busy preparing for baby boy.. 7 weeks from today or yesterday! I can't believe how fast time goes by. I'm starting to get a little anxious about adjusting to two babies. I'm also a little worried about how Addison will do after I get home from the hospital and am recovering from surgery. She really is a mama's girl when she's tired or hurt. I guess we'll see soon enough!
