Christmas morning video

Our video camera broke a few weeks ago.. right in time for Addison's first Christmas.. So this is from our camera. Sorry for the quality!!

Christmas Festivities

We hope everyone had a great Christmas!! We had an amazing Christmas.. It's so fun to have a child and experience Christmas in a whole different way. Even though she is still too young to realize who santa is it was still so much fun having her to open her presents.

We started off Christms Eve with the Tolman tradition.. "John's Incredible Pizza". Addison LOVED the carousel and the little frog ride. She also loved walking around everywhere trying to keep up with her cousins.
The Nelson family.. thanks to my husband for covering up my face.. :) After pizza we all headed to my sister Alisha's to open presents and have yummy food of course!

Of course the best part of the night and by far the best present any of us could have received was being able to skype with my little brother Jordan. He is in Africa serving a mission and it was so good to see him. He has never seen Addison so it was fun to let him see her and have her see him. She just sat there but at least they got to see each other!

All of the Tolman girl grandchildren. Andrea, April, Alyssa, Addison and Karsyn

Grandma with her two of her princesses.. in the jammies she bought them.

Christmas morning Addison woke up around 8:30 which was a nice present itself!! We took her downstairs and let her see what santa brought and open her presents. She was as excited as a 10 month old can be.. but she still loved playing with all her toys.

The leap frog activity table santa brought

The best gift we have received this year is our little Addison. She is so much fun and I love seeing her little personality grow each day. I am so grateful for all the blessings in my life but most of all for my family. It's so fun to be a mom and I look forward to doing it again in a few weeks. Baby boy Nelson "Austin" is scheduled to arrive Feb. 22nd or 23rd as far as we know. I will try to keep this updated as it gets closer! Happy New Year everyone!!

December update

December has been busy so far but I always love this time of year so I don't mind! We are enjoying our little girls budding personality. She is so much fun! She loves to walk everywhere now. I can't believe how quick she is getting. I take my eye off of her for one second and she is gone!

The other night after dinner I took her shirt off and was cleaning her high chair and when I went to look for her this is what I found. She was just laying there on the stairs. It was too funny! She loves to go up the stairs but is not sure how to get down. So that is how we spend most of our time, chasing her up the stairs and helping her back down.
Here is a picture of her walking. She is into everything but thats ok. She has done pretty well with the Christmas tree and presents. Only touched a few times... maybe she learned!

Here is my ever growing baby boy belly. I have about 10 weeks left. My dr. says I will have to have another c-section since it's only been a year since Addison was born. So it is looking like Feb. 22 or 23rd will be the big day. I'm kind of glad I know exactly when he is coming so I can plan a little better and make sure Addison has somewhere to go. I am feeling pretty good except for heartburn and back aches.

Daddy and Addison after we made our gingerbread houses at grandma and grandpa Tolman's. Addison was not interested in making the gingerbread house. She was more interested in chasing her cousins all over the house. They sure wore her out! She's not used to all those boys yet!

Here is our finished gingerbread house. We had such a fun time making them with our family.

Here she is again getting into stuff. I still love her though and those cute little chubby cheeks!!
We hope everyone has a joyous Christmas season. We are very excited to be sharing this first Christmas with Addison and I am even more excited that we get to talk to Jordan via Skype. He has never seen Addison so that will be so fun. I'm hoping she will say hi or talk to him.

Thanksgiving

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We sure did! We spent the day at my parents house. Dinner was delicious like always. We are very thankful for our our blessings. We are thankful for our family and friends. We are thankful for our beautiful little girl and our soon to be baby boy. We are thankful for the gospel and for what it brings into our lives daily.
Here is an example of the turkey cupcakes we made. They turned out pretty cute!!

This was Addison's first Thanksgiving. And she LOVED the food. Of course what's not to love?? She must take after me, thanksgiving is my favorite!! :)

Here she is modeling her "I'm Stuffed!" bib. I thought this was too cute to pass up!

I came down from taking a shower Saturday morning and this is what I found! Guess the holiday weekend wore out my two sweethearts!! Addison and I stayed the night Thanksgiving so I could get up at 3 AM with my mom and sisters to go shopping on Black Friday!! I got some great deals! Saturday was my 27th birthday and matt made me a pink cake, bought me new shoes and took me to Outback for dinner!! It was great! And Addison gave me the best present of all.. she slept in until 8:30 Am!! I was very happy. She has been doing great sleeping lately which is definitely helping me feel better. She has also been walking!! I have to take some pictures and post them of that soon. She also LOVES to dance. Her favorite song is the Black Eyed Peas "I gotta feeling". She gets so happy and dances away to that song. I want to post some videos on here but not sure how.. any one have any suggestions??

Pumpkin carving at grandma and grandpa's.

Last weekend we went to my parents for the annual pumpkin carving festivities. We had a great time and got to stay extra long for my grandma's funeral. I forgot my camera at the funeral so there are no pictures from that. It was a beautiful service and everyone who spoke did a wonderful job! I'm sure grandma loved it!!

Matt doing the dirty work.. actually all the work.

This is what Addison and I did while daddy did all the work!!

Tanner helping Uncle Matt with his pumpkin seeds. That was his favorite part! Tanner and Uncle Matt... silly boys!

The finished product. It's the headless horseman. Turned out great!! Too bad the pumpkin went bad within the first 2 days we brought it home!!

Halloween

We had a great Halloween. Friday night we went to our ward trunk or treat and chilli cook off. My parents were nice enough to drive down to see their granddaughter on her first Halloween. We had a great time! On Saturday we went to our old ward for another trunk or treat and chilli cook off. Then we stopped by Matt's dads house and to some friends for the rest of the night. Addison was not so sure about all the festivities and about her costume but she did great and even kept her antennas on all night!

Happy Halloween everyone!!

This is how Addison looked by the end of the night. I didn't want to wake her up so I ended up leaving her in her carseat and she slept like that for about 5 hours!!

Grandma Bagley

My grandma Bagley passed away this morning. I am very sad and will miss her very much. But I'm also at peace knowing that she is with my grandpa again which is what she wanted. She was such a wonderful woman who lived right next door to me while I was growing up. I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with my grandma. I will always remember her teaching me to play the piano, making pies with her and our goodbye.. "see ya later alligator.. after while crocodile." I am so happy Addison got to take a picture with her and meet her. She was an amazing woman and will be missed!

8 months old

It's been a while so I thought I would update the blog. Addison is now 8 months old. Yesterday she had her dr. appt. and she weighs in at 21 lbs 12 oz and is 29 inches long. Such a big girl!! She is so much fun. She crawls all over the place now and can stand by herself and cruise the furniture. She's not quite sure how to walk yet but has taken a couple of half steps. She'll get there. Probably just in time for Christmas to pull the tree down and open all the presents!! We have been staying busy. I am 21 weeks along already and have another ultrasound scheduled for next week to confirm the due date and sex. Last time they said boy but it's always nice to be sure. Addison and I went to the pumpkin patch with my family a few weeks ago, Matt had to work. I have included some pictures from that. Thanks to my sister Alisha for the pictures.

Addison's new pictures

We took Addison to get some new pictures. We loved how they turned out. Someone should have had a video camera to tape Matt and I trying to make her laugh.. at least it worked!!

It's a......

If you would like to know the sex of our baby please read on. First here are some recent pictures of Addison. Addison loves to eat. Here she is in her high chair waiting to eat. She is such a big girl now. Last dr appointment she weighed 19 lbs. and was 28 inches long.
Here is me and my favorite girl!! We are having so much fun with her cute little personality.

Here is Addison wearing her grandma's glasses. She is such a litte ham. She has started to crawl and is all over the place now. We have to watch her very carefully or she is into everything.

We had our first ultrasound today and it appears to be a boy!! I am measuring at 16 weeks which is a little earlier than we thought. We are so excited. Matt says he does not want to fully believe it until he sees for himself!! :) I included a few of the ultrasound pictures. Sorry for the graphic one ahead of time. If you can't tell the first is a profile, the second is a face shot, and the third is his little booty and boy parts.
